Liberating Vines is Paris-based drummer Karl Jannuska's debut recording as a leader. The repertoire is comprised of twelve of the drummer's original compositions with influences ranging from Ornette Coleman to the Aka Pygmy tribe. The quartet is also called Liberating Vines.
