5 is a new collection of compositions by the quintet Thom Gossage and is third album with is group Other Voices. The music is a celebration of the complicity between its members for the past few years, he has played with the same musicians. Thom knows very well the limits of each player in his band. 5 is an exploration of melody, texture, form in high levels of improvisation, to showcase all elements of a modern jazz.
