Active musician on the Montreal jazz scene for over 25 years, Richard Gagnon presents a new album with his group Trombones Actions. Enriched by his past experience as trombonist, composer, arranger and producer, Richard Gagnon offers an album where the trombone is the star of the show. This is music everyone can enjoy, full of great melodies and lots of improvisation. Nine of the eleven pieces on this album were composed and arranged by him. The album also contains a piece by Jean-Nicolas Trottier and one by Gaétan Daigneault, both members of the band.
