Philou-tropy!
Fifteen top pianists have answered the call by Alain Labonté, Diane Chênevert (president of the Répit Philou Center) and Effendi Records to help out the Centre de Répit PHILOU, a home for severely handicapped children. They have combined their efforts in order to help out those who are affected by the predicament of these children.
Such reknown artists as André Gagnon, Coral Egan, Florence K, François Bourassa, Julie Lamontagne, Lorraine Desmarais, Oliver Jones and Stephan Moccio have drawn deeply from the soul, to compose and perform some of the most beautiful lullabies ever.
The resulting album is a peaceful Ode, soft and soothing, reflecting the human and artistic warmth of the people who created it. A philanthropic endeavour of real, honest music, free of gimmicks, which is sure to warm the heart.
All proceeds go to the Centre de Répit Philou.
Mission of Centre de répit PHILOU
